BlueGrass Musicの時季がやって来た。

季節も一気に秋めいてきて、自転車で走っていても、過ぎる風は一週間前とは大違いでキリリと身も締まり、光の輝きもコントラストが穏やかになりました。

ブルーグラス音楽が最も心地よく感じるこの時季は、新しいセンスのものより、オーセンティックな旋律を求める指向が強いのですが、You Tubeで検索していると、チェコのバンド『RELIEF』http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHTiw7jFcsc&feature=related　が懐かしい曲をプラハのライブハウス http://www.balbinka.cz/ でブラッシュアップして聴かせてくれます。バンジョーマンはアドリブをこなしながらリードヴォーカルを、ウッドベースマンはビートを紡ぎながらコーラスに参加するなど、神業を披露してくれますし、リズムがやはりチェコ風というか独特なシンコペーションです。

方や、巨星のお二人、Mac WisemanとLester Flatt　http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5BSg9x9T9I&feature=related　の安定した歌いっぷりとアンクルジョッシュのドブロも心地よいですね・・・。1970年代中頃の映像でしょうが、ブルーグラス界のビデオとしては、きれいな画面です。

新旧の感性差はありますが、こうして次世代に繋がっていくブルーグラスの魅力は、今や、全地球規模に行き渡りはじめたようです。
